In January of 2008, MJC offered what was called a "virtual winter intersession." Most of the eleven classes were five weeks in duration, they were all online courses, and they began on the same date as the spring term. Because this "term" did not run independently of spring, but rather overlapped the first five weeks of spring, it could not be considered a true pilot of a WI.  It did, however, give us some idea of what we might expect if we were to offer a WI in the future.
